Frequently Asked

Here’s a list of Frequently asked questions that I get - see if maybe one can help you

  • I open for new commission applications on the 20th of every month. New applications are submitted via the estimate calculators (check out How to Commission/Estimates for a full run-down), and they close again on the 23rd. So if the date is between 20th-23rd of the month, then yes I’m open!

  • Wait times are under 2 months, always. I have a consistent next-month ETA for all commissions - if you are accepted in January, your suit will be finished in February, etc. If this were to change, clients are the first to know.

  • I sure do, and it’s right here

  • I only accept one form of payment plan: 50% on acceptance, and 50% on completion. Clients are welcome to pay in full upfront, or early pay at any stage, but this has no effect on my decision to accept your commission.

  • I can make just about any species, within reason. Check out the Gallery to see if I’ve already made one you’re looking for! Otherwise I’m down for just about anything (if you’re not sure, ask!).

  • I do not take artistic liberty suits. If you don’t have a character yet, check out the Adoptables page - there are designs there that are available for adopttion, and the original artist receives a tip if their design is made into a suit.

  • You need a minimum 2-sided reference sheet to commission me. For more information on reference sheets, please check out the How to Commission page, part 2

  • I’m more than happy to hold off on publicly posting WIP photos if you so choose. If you prefer, I can also make the entire process blind, so that the suit is a complete surprise until it arrives at your door. Just ask!

  • 100% absolutely. It’s a very common practice - maybe you just want to try it out before committing to a full purchase. Whatever your reason, I’m always open to upgrading past clients’ suits.

  • I do - there’s a separate calculator on the Estimates page to use for ordering parts.

  • I will not make any copyright character, period. I also do not make original characters that are based on an existing fandom. This includes Pokemon, Sonic, MLP, Neopets, etc.

  • That is called character theft, and no, I won’t make that suit for you. I only make original characters that belong to the person applying for the slot.

  • I do not make suits for minors. It’s a big investment, and you don’t want to outgrow your expensive wearable carpet.

  • I no longer provide quotes - that’s what the estimate calculator is for.

  • I do not accept pre-purchased furs to use with your commission, unless it’s to match previous parts and that fur is discontinued. Regardless of this, you cannot get a discount for providing any materials.

  • I do not accept other makers’ bases to work on, nor do I finish off already-started heads.

  • If you’re ordering a fullsuit, then you will need to provide a DTD and measurements. During the commissioning process, I will tell you when to make a DTD and provide you with the guide. If you would like to peruse the guide, you can find it on the Useful Documents page. Please do not make your DTD before I ask you to - I will not accept previously-made DTDs.

  • The care guide can be found on the Useful Documents page. All my suits are able to be vacuum packed, with a few exceptions - that includes the head! I have fit many a suit into a large suitcase without any problems.

  • If you need glasses, let me know during the initial commission phase. I’m more than happy to accommodate glasses, but the manufacturing process is slightly different than a regular head, so I do need to know if you want to wear them.
